Leaving HBC/Changes in Employment Status?
If you lose or gain coverage due to a change in your own employment status or your spouse’s employment status you can make changes to your benefits during your QLE Window. This includes losing coverage because your employment at HBC has ended.
If you lose coverage due to a change in employment status, you, and each of your covered dependents, will be notified of your right to continue coverage through COBRA as well as your special enrollment period for Marketplace coverage. You must respond to your COBRA notification within 60 days to continue coverage. Each dependent losing coverage has a separate right to continue coverage through COBRA. Learn More
